I had a bridge that just fell out and under it my two teeth are very decayed , big holes and ugly looking%26smelling. Both have had root canals previously and have been "worked" out for the bridge. Both look very bad to me and one of them have even an infection with pus , but the dentist said he can treat them with AB and then do a root canal again and a bridge. I rather extract them than come back in a year after paying so much money again for the bridge . He seems very young and I don't know how experienced. What is your opinion?
Answer:
usually they say what will get them the most money and fixing them brigs in more than puling them and replacing them
In my opinion, YOU should get a second opinion. While youth isn't necessarily bad, it can mean a lack of experience, a lack of good judgement, or even someone who is just starting out and is just plain GREEDY. In particular, if this was the dentist who did the first root canals, I would make a beeline OUT of his office and find another dentist. While the enamel might have decayed on the remaining portions of the tooth, the pulp and dentin should have been FULLY destroyed during the first root canals; since you have an infection in those teeth, clearly whoever did them missed something major.
i recently went through a bad experience like you but almost lost my ife when the infection went under my chin.the infection got to the point were i could hardly open mouth, tongue swollen then could hardly breath.had emegency surgery got teeth removed.pull them out he may want the money.
teeth are for the weak
I would get a second opinion. Couldn't hurt. It's my teeth and money after all. =)
