How come after brushing my teeth, my mouth feels (or gets) cold while drinking water or oj?

Answer:
a particular substance in most toothpastes makes nerves very sensitive to heat, and so therefore when you drink water, it intensifies the sensation of coolness. i think it has something to do with a chemical present in mint, because minty lollies does the same thing. so yeah. weird but cool. can be counteracted by rinsing your mouth very very thoroughly with water.
Your mouth feels cold because you just brushed your teeth and tooth paste makes your mouth feel fresh. So when you drink water and oj, you feel even more fresh.
Is your toothpaste the tartar control/whitening kind? Does it say fights tartar? Tartar control toothpaste or whitening, will make your teeth very sensitive. I recommend and use the ORIGINAL formula of Crest, but use whatever brand you like. I use the gel, but gel or paste original is fine. Trust me..after just a few days of using non-tartar control, you'll notice the difference.
plz simplify ur ques
