How do fight bad breath?

-don't tell me to buy anything but you can suggest toothpastes if needed
-home remedies
-don't answer if you'll just do it for 2 points (you are so shallow)
Answer:
Found this at http://www.care2.com/greenliving/three-n...Many plant materials are extraordinary at killing bacteria, and they can help combat gum disease. All three of these plant materials in particular kill bad breath:
clove buds
cinnamon sticks
cardamon seeds Chew, taking care not to swallow.
Brushing your tongue is actually the best way to fight bad breath.
the root cause might be in your stomachbad digestion or in your rotten teeth
Brush your teeth and your tongue. Brushing your tongue is key in this process if you want to be successful.
your tongue should be pink and not white. White means bad breath causing bacteria. Also floss frequently.
You don't really need tooth paste I have found a plain moist tooth brush works better for me when brushing my tongue, cause the bristles get right to it and removes the white bacteria. It can cause you to gag, just be quick 10 - 15 seconds and repeat if needed. Then you can go back and use tooth paste for the taste. The gag is worth it.
Keep hydrated a dry mouth is a stinky mouth.
This should work because you are getting rid of the source of bad breath. Everything else will only mask it.If this doesn't work then seek medical help. Some health conditions can cause bad breath that comes from the stomach and not from your mouth.
Good luck.
First and foremost, stop worrying, this is an easily sorted problem, obviously a checkup with your dentist is advised to see if you have any dental work, gum disease etc that needs attending to, in the meantime try to hydrate as much as is advised daily, maybe give your diet a fresher approach and finally try to keep your mouth and tongue as clean as possible, you should then start reaping the rewards. Hope this is helpful?
-chew on parsley
-eat lemon
-brush tongue
-mouthwash every am/pm
all good answrs above. try chewing on some natural mint leaves. they taste great.
Bad breath is caused by bacteria in your mouth. To control bed breath, you should get regular cleanings (every 6 months), brush at least two times a day, floss regularly (once a day would be nice), and rinse with mouth wash (listerine is best, and they have a new vanilla flavor that doesn't taste so strong). Good luck!
A few seeds of cardamom chewed for a brief while will clear your mouth of bad breath. Chew parsley leaves, which are sure to keep your breath fresh. More useful remedies at http://useinfo5.blogspot.com/
