How do I get rid of bad breath?

Answer:
Bad breath is caused by a problem in the bowel and stomach. To get rid of bad breath you need to look at your food intake. Increase vegetables and raw fruit. Cut out (or eat less) red meat, change to lighter meats like chicken.Watch alchohol intake and smoking.Generally watch what you eat. Also drink 8 glasses of water. This cleanses stomach. You can hide bad breath, but having it means something isn't right in your tum.
brush ur teeth
brush you gums and tongue as well as your teeth and eat parsley
You can use mouthwash, crest or listerine, sometimes going to the dentist can explain ways to control bad breath
Get a colonic..helps..(think it is all connected) Something may just be rotten in there
Brush your teeth. No just kidding! I'm sure that you know that you need to brush your teeth every day. (you don't live in the U.K. do you? HA ha.) Anyway, parsley, and mint are good for that.
have your Dr. check you for a sinus infection my son is getting his adenoids taken out because his sinuses keep causing an infection that makes his breath horrible. If you chooses a breath mint get sugar free because bad breath germs get worse with sugar
(1)floss between every teeth every morning
(2)brush your teeth morning and night
(3)chew gum before talking to somebody
see your dentist
Brush your teeth at least twice a day. Floss regularly. Use mouthwash that will kill germs and prevent gingivitus because that makes bad breath. When brushing your teeth make sure you also brush your tongue. Even chewing gum will get rid of bad breath. :)
There are some toothbrushes that have a tongue cleaner thing on it, so you could try that since there is a lot of bacteria on the tongue. It will help your breath smell fresher. Also, try a toothpaste that foams like that one Aquafresh one. I use that. its very minty and foamy and makes your teeth feel very smooth.
Also you should carry mints around.
hope that helps

Halitosis, foul-smelling breath. Halitosis may be caused by poor oral hygiene, a disease of the mouth, throat, nose, or lungs, or digestive disturbances.
What causes halitosis or bad breath? While bad breath or halitosis may sometimes be caused by poor oral hygiene, there may also be other underlying causes which contribute to bad breath and are often difficult to treat, despite all efforts to follow a healthy mouth and teeth cleaning routine. This can cause great distress and even result in problems with relationships and difficulties in the workplace. There are a number of causes of bad breath, including: Poor oral hygiene
Gum disease (e.g. gum boils, abscesses, spongy gums, gingivitis)
Multiplication of odor-causing bacteria in the mouth and digestive tract
Candidiasis
Chronic sinus infection
Certain medications (especially those that cause dry mouth as a side effect)
Smoking
Some foods can cause bad breath (garlic, onions, anchovies, high protein diet)
Poor digestion and sluggish liver
Constipation
How do I know if I have bad breath? Sometimes bad breath is noticed by an unpleasant or bitter taste in your mouth. You can also check the smell of your saliva by licking the skin on your inner wrist and then smelling it. If it has an offensive odor, then the chances are that your breath is not as sweet as you would like it to be! However, it is also possible to suffer from bad breath without being aware of it. If you notice that people tend to step away from you when you speak, turn their heads or cover their mouths, then bad breath may be a problem.
What else can help? Brush your teeth after every meal and before you go to bed

You can gargle, eat mints, parsley or anything else that is suppose to eliminate bad breath, but they only do the trick for a few minutes. There may be a reason for bad breath; possibly from something you鈥檝e eaten, dental decay, gum disease or poor hygiene. The best way to eliminate bad breath is with a professional cleaning to make sure it's not from decay or gum disease that's causing the bad breath. Then after the professional cleaning, keeping up with your home care will eliminate the bad breath completely. A thorough brushing, twice a day; brushing the tissue of the cheeks, gums, roof of the mouth and tongue. Believe it or not but this is where most of the odor causing bacteria are. Also flossing your teeth at least once, if only at night is a good way of removing particles of food that are trapped in between the teeth that will not only cause bad breath, but also decay to develop. So, start with a professional cleaning making sure there isn't a reason for this problem, then revise your home care adding other techniques as I've described. You will notice the change in your breath immediately, and so will others. I hope I've been of some help and good luck!
Use a tongue scraper. I use one w/a brush on one end and a scraper on the other. Add a little toothpaste. And brush in a few directions then scrape. It helps to get rid of the bad breath germs which are mostly on your tongue. Some ppl brush their cheeks and roof of mouth too. Keep up with dental cleanings too. They can check for decay or gum disease which can cause bad breath. If you drink coffee, rinse or brush after. Or if you smoke, try to quit. Good luck!
