How are braces put on you mouth ?

i am geting braces soon and i was wondering if someone who has had braces or a dentist/orthodonist could tell me how they are put on your mouth . if possible could i get the anwser in details.
Answer:
Braces are bonded to your teeth in a painless procedure. Depending on the professional who will put them, the process takes between 45 minutes and 90 minutes if you need to put them on all your teeth. There is a special instrument that removes braces when your orthodontic treatment will be finished. It will be painless but might be a bit uncomfortable. Nothing to worry about.
They cement little bracket on the fronts of our teeth and thread the wires through them
I got removable braces about 10 years ago and it was very easy , they just clipped on. I need fixed braces now and they will be glued on. I dont think it will hurt just like anything new it takes a while to get used to it.
1. they take pictures and x-rays of your mouth and teeth
2. They take a mould of your teeth -top and bottom
3. Fit the braces
For your molars %26 sometimes your premolars, small rings/braces are first fit around your teeth until a tight fit is found. Then the rings/braces are taken off the teeth, cement is applied to the ring and the ring is placed back on your tooth. The technique for this process may vary from office to office, some may have a small stick you bite on to put the brace in places other may not. For your front teeth, bracket/braces are placed directly on the tooth with a light cured paste. The doctor or the assistants place a small amount of light cured adhesive on the back of the brace, set it onto your tooth in the correct position and then cure the paste with an ultraviolet light. After this, a wire is put on the braces along with colors if you wish. Then you have braces.
OK they begin by putting this stretcher thing on your mouth .it feels odd and i think the one i got was made of hard plastic.they put metal rings around mt back teeth to join all the brackets..they then put all the little blocks of metal(brackets) on each tooth with glue. this is probably the longest part of the whole process.then thy put the wires in.all of it feels really odd because its mostly new.it doesn't hurt.its more of pressure on the teeth.you may feel fine in the beginning but after a few hours you teeth start to hurt and get really sensitive.the first time ,for me , the pain lasted a week or so but it depends on how bad your teeth are i guess.i get my wires changed every month.the pain comes back but its length varies.the orthodontist should give you some dental wax to put on your brackets so that you dont shred your mouth up!good luck, dont worry(you get used to it)
