Answer:
You really should have your dogs teeth cleaned. Its mouth is probably so painful, imagine if your mouth was like that? Your pet is at a higher risk but there are aneshetics that can be used, same ones used in humans. You should discuss this with your vet. Having this problem actually leads to heart problems due to the infection getting into the blood stream and affecting the heart which is where the cough could be coming from. Also, it would be a good idea to have pre-aneshetic blood work done before the procedure. Not getting proper medical care for your pet is considered abuse.
You too tell your owner to take you the Vet. Then when you are at the Vet you need to tell your him or her you are being abuse and have your owner ARRESTED.
you need to go to the vet and get that dog on an antiobitic to get rid of the infected gums becuase if you don't that will affect the dogs heart even more. bad gums can relate to even more heart problems. pomerians have problems to begin with there heart to begin with but you have added trouble becuase the gums are infected. you need to take care of that ASAP. I had a pom for many years so I know the history better than these other people who guess and try to tell you what's wrong. Call the Vet now.
Hey quit licking yur bum!it causes the bad breath and the coughing is from all the hair yu have ingested from licking yur bum!!-----Ratso, the rat terrier down the street
