Answer:
An infected tooth, or abscess as they are called are extremely painful. PLEASE see a Dentist or take a trip to your local ER as soon as possible as this CANNOT be fixed on its own and there are NO home remedies that will cure this tooth, you need a dental professional immediately. Antibiotics and pain medication that the Doctor will prescribe will eventually help the tooth become less infected but once you stop antibiotics the infection WILL return and is usually much more painful the second time around. Infection from an abscess tooth can spread to the throat causing an airway obstruction and can spread to the heart and brain and cause very severe problems and sometimes fatal complications. PLEASE see a dentist in your area to discuss a treatment as this can become extremely painful. Also try using COLD compresses, do NOT use heat as this can cause the infection to worsen and spread and become more painful
Sad to say, probably nothing. Even antibiotics will only make it go away for a while - you need to get the SOURCE of the problem addressed by a dentist for it to stay away for good.
I don't think there is any. I was put in the hospital because one made my face swell up. I hope you get that taken care of.
the only cure for your problem is to go to the dentist and get it taken care of.
It is not going to go away. Go to a dentist for an extraction.
The infection is going to keep coming back because you need to have a root canal done to remove the infected nerve. That is the only way that it will go away and not come back. You could also have the tooth extracted and that would solve the problem too. It is not good for your body to have an infection in your tooth because it will travel through your blood stream. You really need to have that taken care of.
