How do they put on and take off braces?

Answer:
well i dont really know cause i couldnt see what they was doing to me but from what i gathered they used some cement like stuff and bonded the brackets to each of my teeth.then they put this like metal ring around your back teeth to hold the wire, then they just insert the wire into the brackets with the elastic things over the top to hold it in place. and when they take them out they just remove the wire and kinda clip them off by twisting. i think they heat the cement stuff first tho im not too sure but this is what i think they did to me lool
Some dentist use different ways. When you get your next check up, ask.
they put them on with glue and then to take them off, they take out the wire and pull off the brackets
They use a chemical cement to bond them. It's applied to each tooth, and a light is held over it for 20 seconds per tooth. Then they stick on little metal things to hold the wire and elastics. It takes a while, they also have to put on little metal tubes on your molars. As for having them taken off, I don't know.
